F. Tyson Krause

Founder & Managing Member

Tyson is a 1981 graduate of Springfield College where he played NCAA Division 1 volleyball for 3 years.  He is certified to coach both nationally (USAV Level 2) and internationally (FIVB Level 2). He has coached the women's volleyball teams at Albertus Magnus College, Boston College and at San Diego State University, where he coached six players that went on to play for the USA Women's National Volleyball Team. Tyson started the Connecticut Juniors volleyball program in 1989. In 1997 Tyson opened the Connecticut Sports Center. It was the first sports facility in Connecticut at the time focusing primarily on volleyball. In 2003 Tyson was inducted into the Connecticut Women's Volleyball Hall of Fame.

Ryan Soennichsen

CT Juniors Program Director

Ryan first joined CT Juniors as a participant in a Westport summer volleyball camp back in 1989. In 1996, after playing volleyball at Syracuse University and Southern CT State University, Ryan joined the CT Sports Center  and CT Juniors staff full-time. Ryan manages the day to day operations at the CT Sports Center and is responsible for all CT Juniors programming.

Tom Czaplinski

Travel Program Director

Tom is the Head Women's Volleyball coach at Newtown High School where most recently, his team won the 2020 South-West Conference North Division championship. He has been coaching with CT Juniors since 2007 and Travel Program Director since 2013.
